Weekly Comments\\\
\we rule
This week has been a real doozy. From Monday, to Wednesday, to Thursday and Friday... It was so long, and I'm not too anxious for another week of school to start.
Here we go!
WHAT have I learned this week?
I've learned that puppet animation can be really tricky, but I got the gist of it.
SOMETHING that made me happy this week?
-I restarted my Pokemon Heart Gold version, so I'm looking forward to continuing my adventure in that, I chose TOTODILE...
-I heard a lot of cool (new to me) music.
SOMETHING that made me angry this week?
-Couldn't spell frustrated to save my life about 20 seconds ago.
-I didn't use my time wisely and I wasted a large portion of class time to finish my 2D Short storyboard, which caused me to not finish the puppet animation in time.
SOMETHING I look forward to learning?
I don't look forward to learning at all...
..., but something I look forward to doing is 3D animation, I bet there will be tons of fun and less doozies to be had.
For my link of interest I will link..HOT SHOTS GOLF 3!!! (In game intro)
This probably... no, it is THE BEST PS2 EXCLUSIVE EVER. Relax it's fine, Sly Cooper is not PS2 exclusive, it's for the PS3 as well as the PS2.

Soft Robots
Fat Ghost.
This article was about the new movie, "Big Hero 6" from Disney. It told us a very short synopsis of the story, friendly robot, evil genius, woopty doo. It also went into detail about the idea of soft robots. Robots, but smoother, nicer looking, and probably squishier. It explained the mechanics of them as well, pumps and robotic muscles rather than gears and pistons.
My opinion about this article and probably a lot more future articles is that scientists should just slow down, nobody likes you. At least not me any way. I just really don't like how complex everything has gotten. Sure I may still be growing up and future science stuff has always existed during my life time, but I would like everything to be simpler.
So, shut up scientists...

Black Hole Movie
I get a 2012/ Armageddon feeling from this movie.
The article explained that the movie, "Interstellar" is about humanity needing to leave Earth due to massive crop failures. For the rest of the article it explained about the mechanics behind black holes and what would actually need to happen for this movie's technology to happen in real life.
My opinion about this is that I don't think any of this science and technology would ever work in real life. Sure we have gotten to Mars and the moon, but that's easy, just send a rocket up, but there is too much sketchy science and figures that I feel like scientists just come up with.
I will not be watching this movie in theaters. The only way I will ever watch it is if I am REALLY bored and it's the only thing on TV (most likely on the syfy channel).

Grand Theft Auto guy talks about stuff...
Ian Bowden is this one guy who was like a real good game art director for Rockstar, until he went into mobile games.
Bowden shared tips for artists on how to make stuff good.
He told us to always carry around a sketch book so you can draw things that may pop into your head or your surroundings. Also to experiment with new ideas, 'cause you know, the same old thing gets old...
He also says to watch for trends, but at the same time stay original, that sounds like advice that every person gets at one point. His final tip was to be humble and be ready to accept the fact that there will always be someone better than you.
My opinion on this article was heavily influenced by the fact that Bowden helped with GTA. For whatever reason when I was reading his comments that he was saying them in a positive kind of way, hopefully you understand the idea that I was trying to convey. I feel like these tips were pretty generic, but that doesn't mean I thought that they were bad, usually the most popular advice is the best advice.
Movie mind control madness!!!!
The title of the post makes this seem a lot more interesting than it will be.
The article was about how scientists use eye motion capturing technology to see what parts of a movie people pay most attention to. The viewers seem to watch mostly the intense action parts of movie (big surprise). The article tells about how movie producers try and determine what part of the screen someone's eye is going to move to next and put the action there.
My opinion of this article is that it is common sense that people are going to look at the action parts of movies. I feel they didn't need to bring scientists in to know that people are looking at the giant cool looking explosion or the high speed chase. Also, knowing where the eye is looking doesn't really help movie makers keep people's attention, especially if the movie sucks... No one is going to watch it, even if it makes your eyes look certain places.
